NSWS is established by the Central Government<\/strong> with the objective to build a genuine Single Window System<\/strong>, which acts as a one-stop shop<\/strong> for all the approvals required by the investor and facilitates Ease of Doing Business<\/strong>. The scope of NSWS includes all the approvals\/licenses\/registrations\/clearances<\/strong> as applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this regard, Invest India<\/strong>, through TCS<\/strong>, has developed the NSWS portal for CDSCO<\/strong>, which will be independent<\/strong> from the existing SUGAM portal<\/strong> or CDSCO MD Online portal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially, the following three activities<\/strong> under the Medical Devices Rules, 2017<\/strong>, have been developed and will be made ‘Live’ on the NSWS portal w.e.f. 01.01.2024<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Application for grant of Certificate of Registration of a Notified Body<\/strong> – Form MD-01<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Application for licence to manufacture medical devices<\/strong> for the purpose of clinical investigations, test, evaluation, examination, demonstration, or training – Form MD-12<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Application for licence to import medical devices<\/strong> for the purposes of clinical investigations, test, evaluation, demonstration, or training – Form MD-16<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    In view of the above, it is requested that all concerned stakeholders henceforth should submit applications<\/strong> related to the above-mentioned three activities through the NSWS portal only<\/strong>, and the existing CDSCO MD Online portal<\/strong> for these activities will be disabled w.e.f. 15.01.2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
